Perfectly situated along Rye's High Street, the Georgian frontage of the White Vine House belies its medieval heritage. Refurbished in 2005, owner Javed and his ever-faithful manager, Kim, have restored this once grand home into one of Rye's premier Bed and Breakfasts.

Awarded five AA Stars (Restaurant with Rooms category), we take a personal interest in your comfort and relaxation while you are staying with us. All of the seven guest rooms have been lovingly refurbished and include period furniture. Each has a contemporary en-suite bath or shower stocked with locally-made, organic toiletries and fluffy towels. Flat panel televisions, DVD players, free Wi-Fi for our guests, iPod docking stations and generously-stocked hospitality trays are only a few considerations that we provide.
Looking for a Restaurant in Rye? On the ground floor you will find The Vine Restaurant and Café which is also open to non-residents. We are proud to say we have taken humble bistro dishes to an exceptional level. Our fresh pastas, handmade pizzas and gourmet burgers receive rave reviews, and our menu is supplemented with a few á la carte style dishes where we source the best local meat and fish.
In-between times you can still pop in to enjoy a muffin or scone, with freshly made tea or coffee (or something stronger, if you prefer!) and relax in our Oak-Panelled lounge; the perfect place to escape the hustle and bustle of the High Street and a great vantage point to watch the world go by. On colder days we light the fire and everyone is welcome. The comfy leather sofa is a favourite spot but be warned, it's the one place at The White Vine House that cannot be booked!
